West Bangal
West Bengal is bounded on the north by Bhutan and the state of Sikkim, on the east by Bangladesh and the state of Assam, on the south by the Bay of Bengal, on the southwest by the state of Orissa, and on the west by Nepal and the state of Bihar. Its capital, Calcutta, is one of the largest cities in India. A veritable land is the door to Eastern Indian States. The place is marked by is unique variety of topography, vegetations and fauna. The state consists of all places possible places to attract tourists. The topography ranges from high mountains of the Eastern Himalayan range and the beaches in the southern fringe.
The panoramic hill resort of Darjeeling can be reached by the romantic toy train along the dense forest stretches of Terai, amidst the tea plantations situated in the foothills. The reminiscences of the colonial impression are still imprinted all over the place.
Dooars , the veritable gateway of the state to the North Eastern part of the country is famous for its Tea and Timber.
